I have been the given the wonderful opportunity to go teach in China. The position is through Selkirk College (where I went to school in Nelson), and their agreement with Nanjing Institute of Industrial Technology, NIIT, in Nanjing. I will be teaching three courses at NIIT's School of Tourism. The three courses are Food and Beverage Management, Hotel HR Management, and Tourism HR Management, for a three month period.
I am absolutely thrilled to be embarking on this new and exciting adventure. China is somewhere I've always wanted to travel, and what a great way to experience a new country, its culture and its people, by teaching. I will be updating this blog regularly, as a way of communicating with everyone and to post photos. My journey begins March 5th. Thank you for following!
